  1. Is there a help desk line for clients travelling to Bormio?

Yes, there is. It is available at (+48) 22 517 92 11 from Monday to Friday between 9:00 and 17:00

  1. When does the event begin? When can I check in at the hotel?

The event begins on Sunday 9.12.2018 at 16:00.

The check-in time for all hotels starts at 16:00.

We suggest that you don’t arrive earlier, e.g. on Saturday 8/12, as due to the St. Ambrose Day festivities taking place in Italy in that period and the large number of visitors occupying the local mountain resorts, the number of hotel rooms available in Bormio will be very limited. Inter Cars guarantees hotel accommodation starting from 16:00 on Sunday 9.12.

The check-out time the following Sunday is 10:00. Prior to leaving your hotel make sure you take all your belongings from your room and the hotel deposit box.

  1. Can I arrive earlier, e.g. on Sunday morning, to go skiing.

If you arrive on Sunday morning, you may find that your hotel room is not ready yet. According to the contract, all rooms will be available starting at 16:00 on Sunday 9/12. But you can leave your luggage in the hotel and go skiing.

Please remember that all services related to the conference that you will be provided by us upon checking-in will be available from Monday 10/12/2018. This means that if you would like to use other local attractions, e.g. go skiing on Sunday 9/12, you will have to buy a ski pass for that day on your own.

  1. If I arrive on Sunday night, how can I contact the hotel attendant?

If you arrive on Sunday night, you will find the attendant’s telephone number at the hotel reception. Contact the attendant on Monday morning to collect the information package.

  1. Will an organizational meeting be held during the Inter Cars Snow & Music Days 2018 event?

The organizational meeting will be held on Sunday 9.12 at 21:00 in the Inter Cars Apres-ski tent.

  1. Will there be any one there to help me with all hotel issues?

Yes, you should contact the hotel attendant. You will find your hotel attendant’s information at the reception. You will also be provided with their telephone number.

  1. When will the hotel attendant available?

The hotel attendant will be available every day from 8:00 to 9:30 and from 18:30 to 19:00.

  1. Can I leave the hotel earlier, e.g. on Saturday night? How do I check out in this case?

If you decide to check out earlier, make sure you settle all payments beforehand. You should do it at the reception desk, e.g. after dinner. Make sure you inform the reception staff one day before you leave and request that they prepare a lunch box for you.

  1. When and how will I receive an invoice for participation in the conference? What will be the payment date? Is the conference cost tax deductible?

You will receive the invoice together with all the other documents from a Sales Representative. The payment date is 8.12.2018, so you should have paid it by the time you arrive in Bormio. Contact your accountant to find if the invoice is tax deductible.

  1. Will there be an information point in Bormio for Inter Cars clients?

Yes, the organizer’s office and the information point will be located in a building adjacent to the cable car station. This point is marked on the map of Bormio available in the Guide.  The information point will be open from Sunday 9.12 to 16.12 from 8:00 to 19:00.

Near the information point there will be the Show Car, where you will be able to sign up for ski tournaments and where numerous presentations will be held, e.g. the Q-Service Castrol chain, the Garage Development Academy or a training in the tax changes for the automotive sector in 2019.

  1. Which hotel will I be staying at?

The answer to this question will be provided by an Inter Cars Sales Representative from the Client’s branch. We have prepared for you an Inter Cars Snow & Music Days Bormio Accommodation Catalogue (you will get it from your Sales Representative).

  1. Can I choose or change the hotel?

The hotels have been selected and booked for you in conformity with the order/ recommendation received from the branch. Unfortunately, you will not be able to change the hotel during your stay. We have made sure to choose for you the best hotels in Bormio and St. Caterina. We have booked as many as 19 hotels. Situated 1225 m above the seal level, the hotels are rather small and cosy. They offer good food, a familiar atmosphere and different equipment within a single category.

You will not be able to change hotel room, either. Please keep in mind that you will bear the cost of any damages in your room.

  1. Where will food be served?

Your accommodation package is an HB one and includes breakfast and dinner. Please keep in mind that during dinners alcoholic and all other beverages will be served against a charge.

Dinners will be held between 19:00 and 21:00. Therefore, we suggest that you arrive in the dining room by 20:00. On Tuesday 11.12 each hotel will serve regional food.

In Bormio and St. Caterina there are also many very good restaurants that you can eat at during the day and evening. There are also many restaurants and bars serving local food and snacks near the ski lifts. All extra food and drinks other than HB provided by hotels will be paid for by participants. 

  1. How can I secure valuable staff at the hotel?

Do not leave any valuable things in your rooms or outside them. You can leave them in the safe in your room or a safe deposit box in at the reception. Please remember that according to the applicable law the hotel is not liable for any valuable belongings left in the hotel rooms.

  1. Where can I find information about the conference?

The best and most reliable sources of information about the International Conference are: The Inter Cars Snow & Music Days Guide, the website, emails, Sales People and Regional Mangers and an application that will be activated at the beginning of December.

  1. What is the fastest way to get to Bormio by car?

If you’re travelling from Warsaw, the best route is through Wrocław, Dresden and Nuremberg or through Ostrava, Vienna and Salzburg. Please remember to buy the vignettes required in the Czech Republic and Austria. You can buy them at gas stations near the border or purchase them beforehand from the Polish Automobile and Motorcycle Association (PZM). Make sure you stick the vignettes to the windscreen. Failure to do so is subject to high fines in both countries.

Both routes (through Germany and Austria) intersect near the town of Lavin. To get to Bormio take the Munt la Schera tunnel. It’s a 3.5 km tunnel connecting the Engadyna valley with Livigno, with alternating traffic. You must pay a toll to drive through the tunnel.

Note! On Saturdays the traffic is only one way!

From 5.00 to 10.00 the tunnel is open only to cars leaving Livigno,

from 11.00 to 18.00 only to cars entering Livigno.

After 18.00 on Saturdays and on other days the traffic moves in alternate directions.

  1. What is the price of the Munt la Schera toll?

The price depends on the vehicle type, day and toll type. For example, a passenger car toll is 30 € (36 € on Saturdays, but if you buy the same ticket on the spot, the price will be 35 € (45 € on Saturdays). The toll is cheaper if you buy the tickets online and when you pay for the return trip in advance.

  1. Will parking lots be free of charge?

The hotel parking lots will be free for Inter Cars guests.

Garages and parking places in underground garages will be subject to a fee payable by a participant. Information about the number of parking places and the parking fees are provided in the Inter Cars Snow & Music Bormio Accommodation Catalogue. You will the catalogue from your Sales Representative.

  1. Do I need to bring my skiing equipment along?

If you plan to ski in Bormio, then do bring your own skiing gear. There are ski rentals in Bormio but given that the Inter Cars conference alone will be attended by nearly 1500 people, renting skis might be a difficult task.

The ski rentals offer skis, poles, helmets, ski boots for both adults and children, and safety deposit boxes. The Inter Cars Group will provide you with wrist bands entitling you to a 10% discount in the following ski rentals: OKGO and CELSO. The cost of renting skiing gear is borne by the Conference Participant.

Note! If you’re travelling by plane, bear in mind that skis constitute an additional luggage that must be reported when purchasing a ticket.

  1. Being a participant of the package tour, will I get a wrist band?

Yes, upon checking in at the hotel an Inter Cars attendant will hand you information materials and a wrist band. The band will entitle you to use all attractions organized by Inter Cars, including:

- Show Car trainings;

- consultations and presentations organized by our partners, as well as conferences of the Inter Cars’s Management Board;

- Inter Cars Apres-ski tent;

- transfers between Caterina and Bormio organized by Inter Cars.

With the band you will also get to:

- attend concerts; - conferences;

- participate in ski tournaments;

NOTE! The band is not accepted by Bormio Terme!

In addition, Inter Cars has negotiated discounts for the International Conference Participants in selected ski rentals:



- ski rental at the NORDIC hotel in St. Caterina.

Information about any additional discounts will be communicated on the website and through the application.

  1. What do I need to bring with me?

The most important things to have in Bormio are your personal documents and suitable clothing. Winters in Bormio are snowy and cold. If you’re travelling by car, make sure you buy vignettes and bring wheel chains. If you take any medicines, make sure you bring them with you, along with all documents related to your condition or illness. A good idea is to take all kinds of gels and ointments that may be helpful in case of injury. UV blocks and sunglasses will also come in handy. If your tolerance to cold is low, make sure to take hand and foot warmers.

If you intend to go skiing in your free time, it is recommenced that you wear a ski outfit and a helmet. We also recommend taking goggles to avoid conjunctivitis. Remember to always have some euros in cash with you. Children under 14 must wear helmets when skiing or snowboarding.

  1. Will I get to take skiing lessons?

The conference has a specific purpose. However, there will be qualified instructors in place. Skiing classes will be subject to a separate fee payable to the instructors.

For your convenience, you can send through us an application form available in the Online Catalogue. Fill out the above form to get a training guarantee! If, upon your arrival, there turn out to be vacancies, you will be able to sign up and pay for a skiing class in Show Car located right next to the Inter Cars Apres-ski tent by the main ski lift in Bormio. You will be able to sign up for a skiing class on the day of arrival and following an information meeting scheduled for 21:00 on Sunday, and on Monday 10/12 between 8:00 and 10:00 (reserve list) Note! A failure to pay for the skiing training by 10:00 on Monday will result in cancellation of your reservation.

The price for a skiing training is 135 €/person/week, payable in cash by a participant.

The trainings will be held in the morning and in the afternoon.  The trainings will last 2.5 hours every day. The schedule will be prepared based on the number of participants who sign up. We suggest you sign up in advance due to the limited number of participants. Your participation in a training will be conditional upon receiving a confirmation of signing up. You will be able to sign up for a training after arrival only if there are any vacancies.

Training description:

The training will take place in Bormio in groups of 8 participants each (maximum 10 persons). The children groups will have 6 participants each. The groups will be trained by qualified instructors in conformity with the standards of the Ski Instructors Guild of the Polish Ski Association.

If, upon your arrival, there turn out to be vacancies, you will be able to sign up a skiing class in Show Car located right next to the Inter Cars Apres-ski tent by a - ski lift in Bormio.

  1. Will there be a ski class for children?

Yes. Children can participate in ski classes against an additional fee. See the information above.

  1. What language will the instructors speak?

The instructors will be Polish.

The classes will also be available in English.

  1. What additional attractions can I count on in my free time?

First of all, you will be able to attend numerous presentations and conferences prepared by our Partners. They will be held in accordance with the conference agenda that you will receive together with the information materials e.g. with the Inter Cars Snow & Music Days 2018 Guide, in the application and at

You will get to attend concerts, meetings with Inter Cars in Apres-ski, visit the amazing Bormio di Terme, an ice rink, take a tour of Lombardy and enjoy many other attractions prepared for our clients.

  1. Will I get to the ski lift from the hotel by public transportation?

Yes, you will be able to take free public ski buses running according to the schedule available at bus stops. Some of the hotels offer their own ski buses for their guests. Their schedules are usually available in the hotel reception. Many of the hotels rented by Inter Cars are located within 500 meters from a cable car station.

  1. How can I sign up for a ski tournament?

Ski tournaments, organized by BFC, will be held during the Conference. Their form will depend on the weather conditions.

The tournaments will be held separately for men and women, on the famous Stelvio slope where the World Cup is organized each year.

The tournaments will be held separately for men and women, according to the following schedule:

  • 12.12 Signing up for tournaments in Show Car (14.30-16.30)
  • 13.12 Eliminations – Day 1
  • 14.12 Eliminations – Day 2
  • 15.12 Grand Final and awards ceremony

During the eliminations each contestant will do two timed runs. The system may change depending on the number of contestants.

To take part in the tournament you need to sign up one they before the event (12/12 - Wednesday) in the Show Car truck located near the Inter Cars Apres-ski tent by the main ski lift.

The number of contestants is limited due to technical reasons

  1. Where will I get a ski pass?

Upon checking in at the hotel, the Polish attendant will present you with a practical Inter Cars Snow & Music Days 2018 Guide containing all necessary information about your stay in Bormio. You will also receive numbered vouchers that you will be able to exchange for ski passes at the ski lift cash box. You will be obliged to sign a voucher receipt. The persons accompanying you will also receive the vouchers. Please remember that men and women will receive separate vouchers.

Make sure to keep them in a safe place as losing them will mean losing your ski pass.

The attendants will hand the participants staying in St. Caterina information packages and vouchers that they will be able to exchange for ski passes with the BFC representative against a deposit of € 5. You can exchange your vouchers for ski passes on Sunday 9/12 from 20:30 to 22:00 at the Nordik and 3 Signori hotels.

The organizational meeting for the participants staying in St. Caterina will take place at 22:00 on 9/12 at the 3 Signori hotel.

  1. Which slopes does a ski pass cover?

A ski pass covers three regions: Bormio, St. Caterina and St. Colombano. The ski passes will be active from Monday 10/12/2018 and will be valid thorough Saturday 15.12.

  1. What are the opening times of the ski lifts?

The cable car lifts are open between 8:30 and 16:00, and the cash boxes are open from 8:00 to 20:00.

  1. Do children need a ski pass?

Being accompanying persons, children will also receive a voucher and a ski pass each. Children born in 2011 and later are entitled to a free ski pass. You must present a document confirming your child’s age and have his/her picture taken at the cash box. The ski passes will be active from Monday 10/12/2018 and will be valid through Saturday 15.12.  Children under 14 must wear a helmet.

  1. What do I need a ski pass for?

You need a ski pass to be able to use the ski lifts. You must not give your ski pass to another person. If you fail to comply with this rule, your ski pass may be cancelled.

  1. How do I get a ski pass?

Ski passes will be handed out by delegated Inter Cars attendants who will be staying at each of the hotels. You will receive special vouchers from them upon check-in, that you will be able to exchange for a ski pass at the ski lift cash box. The persons accompanying you and your children will also receive vouchers. Children born in 2011 and later will receive a ski pass free of charge at the ski lift cash box against a document confirming their identity. Remember to always have your ski pass on you while skiing and 

to return it to the cash box to get your deposit back (you fill find more information about the deposit under question no. 35).

  1. What if I lose my ski pass?

You can get a new one, but you must furnish the original ski pass number (provided on the left side above the expiry date). Take a picture of the ski pass or write its number down so that you can get its duplicate if you lose or damage it. The cost of obtaining a duplicate is 30 € (+ deposit) and is payable by the Participant.

You will not get your ski pass duplicate without this number and specific personal data. If this is the case, you should contact the hotel attendant. The handling fee in this case is €85.

  1. Will I get my ski pass deposit back?

A ski pass deposit is €5.00. You will get it back upon returning your ski pass at the ski lift cash box at the end of your stay, preferably on Saturday.

  1. Is participation in Inter Cars Apres-ski free of charge?

Participation in events organized in the Inter Cars Apres-ski tent is included in the price.

  1. Does the organizer ensure food and drink during the day and during Inter Cars Apres-ski?

In their free time and during Inter Cars Apres-ski, the clients have to get food and drink at their own expense. There will be a catering point located some 50 meters from the Apres-ski tent offering drinks and snacks.

However, at the opening of the event each day, the first 200 persons who show up in the tent will get a small surprise.

  1. Will any food be served during the evening conference of the Management Board?

There will be catering points offering drinks and snacks. Please remember that on that day dinner will be served earlier (from 18:00 to 19:30).

  1. Do hotel guarantee full board?

Each hotel offers two meals - breakfast and dinner served as specified by each hotel. Breakfast will usually be served from 7:30 to 9:00 while dinners will be held from 19:00 to 21:00 (we suggest you show up for dinner by 20:00). 

On 12.12 the dinner will exceptionally be served from 18:00 to 19:30. Moreover, on Tuesday 11.12 all hotels will serve regional food.  Alcoholic and other beverages will be served against an additional charge.

  1. Will any photo and video materials be available following the event?

Yes, we are going to provide you with some general photo and video material.  To this end, we need your image reproduction consent. This document constitutes an attachment to the contract that you will receive from a Sales Representative or a Regional Manager.

  1. Is the stars concert free for Inter Cars Clients?

The price of the concert is included in the price for each participant of the International Conference Snow & Music Days 2018. The Concert will be held on 12.12.2018 in the Pentagono hall. You must show your Inter Cars band to enter the hall.

  1. Do the hotels have SPA facilities that I can use?

Some of the hotels do have SPA facilities that you can use in conformity with the hotel rules. Some of the hotels offer free SPA facilities, some offer them against a charge. Details regarding particular hotels are available in the Inter Cars Snow & Music Days Bormio Accommodation Catalogue, that you will get from your Sales Representative.

  1. What SPA treatments does Bormio Terme offer?

This is primarily a wellness centre offering treatments using the thermal springs with water of up to 40°C containing sulphates, bicarbonates and minerals. You can take an inhalation therapy, balneotherapy, mud bath and mud therapy, physical therapy in thermal baths or use the thermal pools improving blood circulation.

  1. Can the participants use SPAs other than Bormio Terme?

Each participant of the Snow& Music Days can choose an offer that suits them most e.g. Bagni Nuovi or Bagni Vecchi. They are located in elegant hotels and offer intimacy and prestige. You have to pay for visiting them. Make sure you check if they are available beforehand. As they are located some distance from your hotels, you have to arrange for transport on your own.

  1. Will I get to taste local delicacies in Bormio?

Of course. The best opportunity to do so will be at the local delicacies market. It’s a food market created by local farmers and small producers. It will be held especially for the clients of Inter Cars. You will get to buy there fresh local produce. The market will be held on Thursday 13/12/ between 15:00 and 22:00 at the Piazza del Kuerc square.
